We are looking for a new member to join our team part-time as a Jems Social Media Ambassador.
Reporting to the Co-founders, our ideal candidate has experience planning and executing social media content while being comfortable in front of the camera. Brand awareness, community building and driving product sales are at the core of our approach. You’re comfortable working within the sexual wellness category, developing creative content that follows our strategies.
The role
Responsibilities:
🎥 Creating and managing a variety of content for all social channels, including; Tik Tok, Instagram and Pinterest
💚 Act as a brand ambassador, occasionally being the voice for the brand in front of the camera
💚 Build a community through compelling content, while engaging with followers. Encouraging conversation, conversions and differentiating the Jems brand from the competition
💚 Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviours
💚 Posting on IG regularly, creating + sharing memes and other content
💚 Promote brand awareness and generate new sales opportunities through social channels
💚 Community management - responding to DMs and commenting and liking our followers content
💚 Search and follow people that you believe would be a great audience member for Jems
💚 Coordinate micro-influencer outreach and package send
💚 Manage our Sorority and Fraternity outreach and package sends
Qualifications:
We are looking for a self-starter with exceptional communication skills and a natural storyteller with the following creds:
💚 Experience developing and fostering communities online
💚 Strong knowledge of social media, community management, content creation, creative copywriting, publishing and campaign development across multiple channels
💚 Exceptional communication skills and high accuracy/attention to detail
💚 Ability to work well independently and as part of a dynamic team environment
💚 Skilled in photography, photo editing, video editing & art direction, an asset
💚 An undergraduate degree or college diploma in marketing, communications or related field and/or post-education in digital marketing or social media management, an asset (but not required)
