Our Story
The world has changed, but the condom aisle hadn’t. For decades, safer sex products have been shaped by outdated stereotypes, stigma, and a lack of transparency, often made with unnecessary or undisclosed ingredients. Meanwhile, we understood that people value honesty and inclusivity, and want products that align with who they are.Jems is a female-founded safer sex brand shaking up the category with body-safe condoms, lube, and more, designed for a multiplicity of bodies, genders, and sexual expressions. Thoughtfully formulated with only essential ingredients and stigma-free by design, Jems is here to make safer sex feel like the best part of everyday self-care.

Our Founders
“We’re in the era of keeping toxic people and products at bay.”
While looking for contraception options between pregnancies, Yasemin and Whitney noticed that, as conscious consumers of food, beauty, and household products, there was a lack of transparent ingredients with condoms. So, with a passion for design that supports a multiplicity of voices, they created Jems as the answer to effortless, non-toxic staples for safer sex.
